I know we should be talking about spring clothes and sandals, but when Spring feels more like Autumn it is hard to make the transistion.
Therefore when I was packing for Copenhagen it was quite a challenge since the weather was changing so much!
The first day here it rained a lot and therefore I decided to wear my very beloved Burberry trenchcoat. It is such a classic piece that you can wear all year around.
I remember the day I bought it like yesterday. That feeling when I finally had saved just the right amount for this classic. Nothing feels better than finally being able to buy something you worked hard for.
Black was the only option for me since I wanted to make sure that I would wear it season after season.
The questions I always ask myself when investing in a more expensive piece of clothing: “how much will I wear this piece?” , “Can I wear it with most of my existing wardrobe?”
This is not to make myself more sure of whether or not I love the product. It is to show myself that spending this big amount on one piece of clothing is okay.
When you shop designer pieces do you consider it as much as I do? or are you more spontanious?

Now that spring is around the corner and temperatures are rising I am
as always waaaay behind on sharing my winter outfits! So please bare with me if a lot of winter outfits are shared this month.
As you probably know by now I have a thing for vintage coats and when I found this one hanging in a shop I knew it had to come home with me.
It is the perfect grey classic color that will last season after season and it will keep you warm on cold winter days like this one.
To be honest it was way to big at the time so I had to make some changes to the coat.
Luckily I am no stranger to a needle and thread so it came quite easy to me. Do you like DIY projects just as much as I do?.. I feel like a good DIY can make an old piece new again just by a simple change!
When wearing a statement coat like this I tend to add some more neutral pieces to dress it down.
This time I styled it with a chunky knit and block heeled ankle boots.
How do you style your statement coats?

The Christmas traditions are en full sving and that means a lot of family gatherings with lots of food and sweets!
I already have all Christmas gifts ready for every family member – all i need now is a Chrismastree!
The city can be a bit chaotic in December
I bet yours is as well , but what I love about it is the Christmas decorations and the big Christmastree in the town square.
Are you ready for Christmas yet?
When Christmas shopping it can be to hot to wear a long coat running in and out of the shops.
Therefore I often choose a sweater to keep me warm instead.
This time I styled it with a striped longer shirt and coated jeans. What I love about this sweater is the bows at the end of the sleeves that gives it that chic vibe we are all in need of.

It feels like October and November has just flown by! Dont know what happened?! have been sooo busy that I have neglected the blog!
Now it is time to get back in the game before this crazy year ends!
A few weeks ago I had the chance to fly to Prague for work and it was exactly what I needed!
Just to get away from everything
even though it was for work to clear my head and get a fresh start.
Prague is such a beautiful city with cobblestones everywhere and every building is Instaworthy!
The view from my hotel says it all! Best sunsets!
The hotel was nothing special but to my surprice my room had the most amazing all marble bathroom!
Unfortunately I was only here for a few days and with work there was limited time for exploring but I managed to do a little damage aka shopping and making my sweet colleague take my ootd’s!
I mean what are colleagues for if not helping eachother out?!
Fall has arrived here and with the falling leaves I decided to let my long locks fall as well.
To be honest I really did not have much choice in the matter.
My hardresser must not have been a big fan of my hair, since she decided to make such a huge mess of it, that led it to be so ruined, that there was only one option. CUT IT!
Luckily it ended up being longer than what I had imagined
such a relief .
Now the shorter do has grown on me and I have found the pros of having shorter hair.
- 20 minutes less blowdry time
- when i curl or straighten it it does not take half a day
- I dont wake up doring the night being choked in my hair
- much less shampoo = more money for shoes!!
These simple 3 facts make me love it!
The cons however is:
- not having that long sleek ponytail or braid
- not that many options when it comes to hairstyles
- having to style it everyday instead of the easy bun/ponytail
Irresitible Me gave med the best of both world with their easy clip-in extensions that matches my own haircolor perfectly!
They are so easy to clip in and out and are so strong that you dont have to fear them falling out during the day. can you imagine?! All the feers and doubts that you get from other girls having extentions is nonexisting.
I wear them a lot more than I had imagined I would. I have always had long hair so I never needed extensions before, but now they are such a lifesaver. Who knew that having long hair could be that important?!
Now I can have my long ponytail back whenever I want and still have the shorter do during the workweek.
The best of both worlds – what can be better than that?

Through the colder months all I pray for is warmer weather, sun and blooming flowers. Now May has come and everything I wished for has arrived.. well almost anyway.
May has left me clueless about what to wear, when I leave the house in the morning.
One day it is sunny and warm and I decide to wear a flowy summerdress and suede sandals, only to find myself regretting it in the afternoon, when it starts raining cats and dogs! We all know the struggles of rain vs. suede!
Then the next day learning from previous mistake I decided to wear my usual workwear thinking I have everything under control- it becomes the hotest day of the month!
My solution is: Wear a light top underneath your blazer and then you are good to go. I also added a pop of pink to add a little spring to my usual workwear.
What do you think makes a good workoutfit? One that can be transformed into a lighter/warmer look when needed?

The other day I posted a look wearing my new favourite lace top from She in.
I promised you a second look since I have already worn this piece a few times.
This time I styled it with an all leather outfit. Since spring has arrived I realised that i only have a few chances to wear leather before it gets to hot. So double leather was the only option for me. The delicate lace makes the look less biker chick more streetstyle.
I added white kicks to make it look more casual for a day with the family.
So which look do you prefer? The one with denim and heels or this leather monochrome look?
Thank you for readning.

I know monochrome is a safe choice and some may even call it the easy choice – but I find it to be very chic and classic.
Most of my closet consists of black and white clothes mixed with denim, grey and navy. This makes it easy for me to get dressed for the office in the morning. Just add heels, Chanel and red lipstick and off you go!
Like this grid coat for example. It has a very classic cut and yet it is so diversital. It instantly spiced up my LBD for a special occation or when I wear it with demin as seen on a previous post.
Do you think monochrome is boring and easy?

The snow has arrived in Denmark during the night and every thing is covered in white.
Happy I got to enjoy a sunny walk on the beach just a couple of days before the snow fell.
It was so cold I was not sure my hands would ever get warm again! it was lovely to get some fresh air after all the holiday eating and dining.
Wearing my beloved fame and Partners skirt- dressing it down with combat boots and a classic leather jacket.
Happy new year everyone! Wishing you all a lovely 2016!

I have always been the kind of girl that wore heels everywhere! And I mean EVERYWHERE!
The comments about me wearing heels are endless! ‘How can you walk in those HIGH heels’ or ‘Does your feet hurt when you wear THOSE?’
So I decided to change it up a bit and started wearing flats more. I have to admit they are more comfortable! But are they just as chic as a great pair of Louboutins?
The first pair of designer flats was of corse by Mr. Louboutin. The Pigalle studded flats was love at first sight! Not only where they comfortable but they had an edge.
I began to love wearing flats and when I saw the Noir Valentino Rockstuds in Paris last year, I knew I could not leave without them! (btw you can buy them at mytheresa.com). These rockstuds are litterally THE best pair of flats I have ever owned! I can walk in them all day and take them from day to night in a heartbeat.
But I would NEVER EVER have imagined myself wearing sneakers! I mean do chic sneakers really exist?! I am not sure…
On the other hand.. I must admit that my affair with Stan Smith might be a never ending love story! I just adore them! You can wear them with everything from a long flowy dress paired with a leatherjacket to a skirt ( like I did in these pics) or with your jeans. Stans are so versatile and fashionable in every way.
I might have to get another pair! Maybe I should design my own next time?
