During winter it seems like everyone tends to wear the same colors as the weather aka the darkest colors possible!
As much as I love a good monochrome outfit and all black looks it can be quite dull during these darker months.
It is time for a change and I decided to go with the more colorful choice of coat for my last visit in Copenhagen,
Oddly enough everyone was able to spot me in a croud full of black coats haha
To tone the coat down I styled it with a pleated leather skirt, neutral chunky knit and black accessories.

Copenhagen is the place to be during December if you want to get that Danish vibe we Danes call ‘Hygge’ . (you can look it up here to get the full interpretation here ).
When stepping out from the main trainstation in Copenhagen you get the feeling straight away. Tivoli is located right accross the street and every entrace to the garden is decorated with beautiful lights, snow and christmas trees. If you come to visit do it when it is dark. it is so much more beautiful.
You can go to try all the rides, enjoy a lovely dinner or simply take a walk and enjoy all the beautiful decorations.
Every street in the city centre is decorated beautifully.
A small Christmas Market is located in every little passage.
Even along side Nyhavn and the colorful buildings people are sitting outside covered in blakets and enjoying a wam cup of cocoa, dutch crepes and other specialties suited for Christmas.
If the cold gets to be to much there are lots of cute cafés and restaurants near by to get heated up and maybe grab lunch.
If you ever decide to visit Copenhagen it is definately worth it to visit this time of year.
Thank you for reading and for all your lovely support this past year!
You guys are amazing!
Happy holidays to you all.
I know we should be talking about spring clothes and sandals, but when Spring feels more like Autumn it is hard to make the transistion.
Therefore when I was packing for Copenhagen it was quite a challenge since the weather was changing so much!
The first day here it rained a lot and therefore I decided to wear my very beloved Burberry trenchcoat. It is such a classic piece that you can wear all year around.
I remember the day I bought it like yesterday. That feeling when I finally had saved just the right amount for this classic. Nothing feels better than finally being able to buy something you worked hard for.
Black was the only option for me since I wanted to make sure that I would wear it season after season.
The questions I always ask myself when investing in a more expensive piece of clothing: “how much will I wear this piece?” , “Can I wear it with most of my existing wardrobe?”
This is not to make myself more sure of whether or not I love the product. It is to show myself that spending this big amount on one piece of clothing is okay.
When you shop designer pieces do you consider it as much as I do? or are you more spontanious?

When ever I get the chance I love to visit our sunny captital! I love everything about this city! The streets filled with beautiful architecture, the shops and the cutest cafes on every corner.
I love how different it is from where I live now – so busy and upbeat!
There is always an event, a big designer sale or a cute new boutique to visit!
This time I went mostly for the blog to connect and view all the new spring / summer collections comming, but of corse I made time to explore the city with hubs.
When I visit Copenhagen i always have to stop by Illum – or marble heaven as i like to call it! You can see why in the pictures. Also I have a weakness for the roof top terrase.
Not only for the view, but also for the food and the best macarons in the country!
If i ever had the oppertunity i would move there in a heartbeat! Well at least thats what i tell myself i would, but then the fear strikes of everything you would be leaving behind and all the responsibilities you have where you are?
Have you ever just packed up your life and moved somewhere new and exiting?

If you dont know this by now I looooove fashion and everything about it. The only thing is i dont really know why?
People often ask me why I dont work in the industry, when I love it so much. To be honest I do not have an answer.
I did not grow up in a fashionable home like some of my fellow bloggerfriends did, where their mother had a passion for fashion and me and my friends could go ‘shopping’ for Chanel and other famous labels in her closet.
The closest person, I can remember who inspired me, fashionwise when I was little, was my grandmother. She always looked so well put together in her trenchcoats, heels and skirts.
Later I spend a lot of money (read all my money) on fashion magazines. Like Carrie Bradshaw would say it I felt that it fed me more than food.
Today inspiration is everywhere – just a tap away. Everyone have access to social media, blogging away about what they love the most.
I love social media and how it can connect you with people, all over the world, you otherwise would never have met.
On the other hand do actually enjoy the moment were in while we type away on our cellphones, computers and tablets. Are we to fixated on getting a perfect shot for Instagram that we simply forget to live in the moment?
Has it all become to much?
