I have always been the kind of girl that wore heels everywhere! And I mean EVERYWHERE!
The comments about me wearing heels are endless! ‘How can you walk in those HIGH heels’ or ‘Does your feet hurt when you wear THOSE?’
So I decided to change it up a bit and started wearing flats more. I have to admit they are more comfortable! But are they just as chic as a great pair of Louboutins?
The first pair of designer flats was of corse by Mr. Louboutin. The Pigalle studded flats was love at first sight! Not only where they comfortable but they had an edge.
I began to love wearing flats and when I saw the Noir Valentino Rockstuds in Paris last year, I knew I could not leave without them! (btw you can buy them at mytheresa.com). These rockstuds are litterally THE best pair of flats I have ever owned! I can walk in them all day and take them from day to night in a heartbeat.
But I would NEVER EVER have imagined myself wearing sneakers! I mean do chic sneakers really exist?! I am not sure…
On the other hand.. I must admit that my affair with Stan Smith might be a never ending love story! I just adore them! You can wear them with everything from a long flowy dress paired with a leatherjacket to a skirt ( like I did in these pics) or with your jeans. Stans are so versatile and fashionable in every way.
I might have to get another pair! Maybe I should design my own next time?
Fall is arriving but I am not quite ready to leave my skirts behind.
To extend the period just a teeny tiny bit, I am trying out the socks in shoes trend.
It is a great way to keep your feet warm and still showing of your (summertaned) legs. In my case a summertan never actually appeared, but you get the picture!
I bought these ancle tuxedo socks from Wolford and paired them with my Italian leather shoes, Chanel WOC, Céline sunnies, Primark bow shirt and my ‘as close to a Balmain I will ever get’ blazer from Vero Moda.
If you follow me on Instagram, you will know that I absolutely love London!
I would go so far and say it is my favourite city in the world.
I mean is there anything not to love about London? The beautiful architecture, the museums (you can visit most of them for free!), shopping, parks etc.
I have visited so many times that I cannot keep count. Spending holidays with my family, visiting my fathers family (just a bit outside of London), weekend get-aways with my hubby.
London is a magical place and there is always a new area to explore. It is also the place where my husband proposed! Right in the middle of Kensington Gardens! So you can understand why i am so passionate about this city.
I would move there in a heartbeat if the oppertunity ever occured.
My name is Britta and I am a fashionloving girl from Denmark.
I decided to create this blog after connecting with such lovely people from all over the world through social media who all share my love for fashion. Well to-be-honest also due to the fact that my 9 to 5 job just don’t satisfy my fashionhungry heart.
My wardrobe is a huge mix of everything that i love about fashion: Luxury accessories, Highstreet, hand-me-downs and second hand items. The items that i cherish the most, are timeless classic pieces, which have the ability to transform any outfit.
I love to travel and explore the world whenever I have the chance. Especially London has a special place in my heart.
