One would think that because you are a blogger / instagramer, it is crucial to spend as much as possible on the latest clothes, shoes and accessories that the fashion world dictates.
As much as i love following the latest trends I am more of a classic shopper.
I love to look for classics – pieces I can wear with most of my wardrobe that are timeless.
This does not immediately mean that I never wear colors. I just pick them wisely.
Like my very colourful Falabella from Stella Mccartney. I Love the chunky chains and the soft suede. I could have chosen the safe one
black or grey, but I decided that coral would be perfect for Spring and Summer. And in this case also through winter.
You might have noticed, if you follow me on Instagram, just how much I wear this coat!
I have worn it almost everyday this winter! This I might come to regret, when I go through my phone for a new post, and all I am wearing is this coat 90% of the time!
But that just shows my point!
You do not need to buy everything on the rack! Buy the items that you feel suits your style and you know can be worn with everything season after season.
A special thanks to my husband for always supporting me even though he teases me about all the outfit changes – but i guess thats what husbands do! 😉

These last fiew days i have been thinking about my winter wardrobe and all the outfits i still have not posted! like this one!
please don’t judge
Every season I have a pair of shoes that I just wear all season!
You know the feeling if you are a shoe addict like myself……
This season it has been these burgundy OTK boots – they have been my trusted friend for every occation.
I have styled them with a more casual look with jeans and a sweather like today, but also with dresses and skirts for a more dressed up feel.
What has been your favourites this season and why?

Now that spring is around the corner and temperatures are rising I am
as always waaaay behind on sharing my winter outfits! So please bare with me if a lot of winter outfits are shared this month.
As you probably know by now I have a thing for vintage coats and when I found this one hanging in a shop I knew it had to come home with me.
It is the perfect grey classic color that will last season after season and it will keep you warm on cold winter days like this one.
To be honest it was way to big at the time so I had to make some changes to the coat.
Luckily I am no stranger to a needle and thread so it came quite easy to me. Do you like DIY projects just as much as I do?.. I feel like a good DIY can make an old piece new again just by a simple change!
When wearing a statement coat like this I tend to add some more neutral pieces to dress it down.
This time I styled it with a chunky knit and block heeled ankle boots.
How do you style your statement coats?
Coat: Vintage faux fur
Knit, Jeans & boots: Zara

When ever I get the chance I love to visit our sunny captital! I love everything about this city! The streets filled with beautiful architecture, the shops and the cutest cafes on every corner.
I love how different it is from where I live now – so busy and upbeat!
There is always an event, a big designer sale or a cute new boutique to visit!
This time I went mostly for the blog to connect and view all the new spring / summer collections comming, but of corse I made time to explore the city with hubs.
When I visit Copenhagen i always have to stop by Illum – or marble heaven as i like to call it! You can see why in the pictures. Also I have a weakness for the roof top terrase.
Not only for the view, but also for the food and the best macarons in the country!
If i ever had the oppertunity i would move there in a heartbeat! Well at least thats what i tell myself i would, but then the fear strikes of everything you would be leaving behind and all the responsibilities you have where you are?
Have you ever just packed up your life and moved somewhere new and exiting?

I say this all the time! Choose your winter coats wisely!
If you you do not have an unlimited budget like Kim K – choosing the right coat is crutial!
Think classics and something you can reuse season after season.
Like this military jacket from Tommy Hilfiger
It is like 6 years old! but I use it every year.
I try to always plan ahead to be sure what coat to splurge on.
Also regularly cleaning out my closet helps in the decision making process.
Getting rid of pieces you never use or are ruined from last year needs to be tossed.
Another plus is you might earn a buck or two if you decide to sell old pieces.
What coat have you plurged on this year? or are you reusing an oldie like me?
Coat: Tommy Hilfiger
This season I have noticed that a lot of people
myself included are obsessed with checkered coats. It is different from the usual black and greys that seem to be the IT colors we wear all winter long.
Luckily for me
and my wallet I already had this coat hanging in my closet. Lets just say that i have a thing for Burberry coats! Another obsession to add to the list
It is vintage and has followed me for years now. It was one of those vintage bargains that was just love at first sight!
Do you ever vintageshop? If so what is your greatest bargain?
Coat: Burberry vintage
Knit: Vero Moda
The Christmas traditions are en full sving and that means a lot of family gatherings with lots of food and sweets!
I already have all Christmas gifts ready for every family member – all i need now is a Chrismastree!
The city can be a bit chaotic in December
I bet yours is as well , but what I love about it is the Christmas decorations and the big Christmastree in the town square.
Are you ready for Christmas yet?
When Christmas shopping it can be to hot to wear a long coat running in and out of the shops.
Therefore I often choose a sweater to keep me warm instead.
This time I styled it with a striped longer shirt and coated jeans. What I love about this sweater is the bows at the end of the sleeves that gives it that chic vibe we are all in need of.
Wearing: all Zara
(I know I know – but did not realize untill I had to tag the labels on Insta)
December has arrived and even though it ‘should’ be minus something degrees it is still not cold enough for long coats and boots.
A good alternative to winter coats is a great sweater! It can easily be added to any outfit to keep you warm and cozy during the day.
What I love about this paticular knit is the color. The green emerald is perfect for fall/winter and the upcoming holidays.
Also it has a high neck and the sideslits to show off what you wear
or not wear underneath.
I wore this outfit to the city for brunch and some christmas gift shopping.
This sweater is perfect for an all you can eat brunch buffet
you can hide basically anything under it!
Also christmas shopping is a workout in itself with all the walking and carrying bags of gifts!
Oh! wait Hubs did that part!
Well you get the idea!? right?

On my days off I love to go to the city and explore, have a hot cup of cocoa and shop a little.
My city is very small compaired to so many others but there is something cozy and familiar about. It feels like home.
What I love most is not the shops, because we do not have the most exiting ones – only the usual highstreetshops.
No what i love most is the buildings and little streets and soon the Christmas lights! there are many cute cafés and restaurants.
Here it is all about the Danish term called ‘hygge’ which almost always entails eating something with the people you love.
Google ‘Hygge’ and you will totally come visit Denmark!
Skirt: Gina Tricot
Fishnets have seriously made a comback this season.
And who am I to turn it down?!
I love the extra edge it gives to an otherwise casual outfit and how easy it is to style!
Are you joining this new fall trend?
